New week ~ new colour and the next blog on the next colour. The card was pulled intuitively from Secret Language of Colour by Inna Segal.
Pink ~ Many moons ago, in a former guise as a nurse, I had a lovely patient, an elderly lady, who would use the saying “Pink, pink, to make the boy wink whenever she got dressed in anything pink! Perhaps there is something in that saying. Although pink is not the out and out colour of passion as red is, nonetheless, pink is of course red but tempered with white!
Pink. Soft and gentle and the epitome of femininity and, in colour therapy it is the colour of self-love and also of unconditional love.
Of course, there are so many shades of pink! What’s your favourite? How does pink make you feel? Hot zingy pinks or pretty pastels? Is pink just for girls? Do men need pink? Answer ~ yes they do!
Besides softening the strong masculine passion it can teach him to tap into his feminine side, his feminine energy, bringing about balance of the masculine/feminine within him.
Pink is a lovely nurturing colour and opens and heals the heart. A lovely colour to use in your décor, lovely for a bedroom to aid restful sleep, particularly if you struggle with insomnia. I don’t mean the eye-popping fuchsia pinks or course, I’m talking the softer, delicate tones of this lovely colour.
It’s a great colour too, when working with colour therapy as pink is the ideal choice where someone needs an ‘injection’ of red, but might have predisposing factors, that means red itself would be way too much and could be damaging. Red + White = Pink = Perfect.
A perfect colour, for men or women. Perfect for opening your beautiful heart to giving and receiving unconditional love <3
In the photo are shown rose quartz crystals (the pale ones) and a dyed agate. Rose quartz is truly the stone of unconditional love and it also resonates with the Archangel Chamuel and the Goddess Aphrodite.
The oil is rose ~ roses ~ ever linked with love and romance but it is a beautiful, soft and uplifting fragrance too. It hold the pink ray and the green. Green of course is a great balancer and healer. What more could you want?
