A COLOURFUL LIFE
Colour. What does this mean to you? Are you aware of the impact of colour? Think now. Are you one who carefully selects what to wear, or do you just grab whatever comes to hand? Think about the times when you’ve pulled something out of wardrobe but instinctively think, no! You put it back and select another colour?
How important is colour to you? Are there colours you just adore and are there any which really turn you off? Are you one who always wears black? How does a rainbow make you feel?
Are you aware of how important colour is to your health and wellbeing, and how is this so?
I’m asking a lot of questions here but, it’s to really get your cogs whirring around the subject of colour. Colour is important, and more important than perhaps many realise!
Your instinctive pull towards a certain colour at a given time is because it’s what you need. I need colour? Yes you do! Your chakras need. it.
Chakras. A lovely word isn’t it. Many will have heard it, some will know about them, but for those that don’t I’ll explain a little further. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheels and within your body you have these wheels ~ there are also some on the outer of your physical body, but for now let’s talk about the 7 main chakras.
So there are the 7 ‘main’ chakras, each having a role to play in our health and wellbeing, be it mentally, emotionally, physically or spiritually. A lack of a particular colour or, colours can lead to imbalance and lead to dis-ease. Don’t worry now, I will guide you on how to introduce colour into your life and not just through your wardrobe!
Now for the fun part. Choose the colour you’re drawn to and comment what that colour is? The theme of this blog will continue……… so choose that colour and bit by bit, little by little that colour will be revealed in all it’s glory!
